Sour cream dressing
80 ml (1.3 k) mayonnaise
80 ml (1.3 k) sour cream
80 ml (1.3 k) apple juice
15 ml (1 tbsp) olive oil
salt and ground black pepper
½ purple cabbage, thinly sliced
½ white cabbage, thinly sliced
1 x 100g packet of walnuts, toasted
8 butter lettuce used as bowls, or cut into thin strips
2 green apples, sliced thin
8 slices Gypsey ham
250 ml (1 cup) parmesan curls
Instructions
1. Slaaisous: Meng die mayonnaise, suurroom, appelsap en olie. Geur na smaak. 2. Meng die kool, okkerneute en slaaisous. Skep in die botterslaai- of bindslaaiblare. 3. Sit met die appels en ham voor en strooi die parmesaankrulle oor.

1 Dressing: Combine mayonnaise, sour cream, apple juice and oil. Season to taste. 2 Combine the cabbage, walnuts and dressing. Spoon into the butter lettuce leaves or on a bed of sliced lettuce leaves. 3 Add the apples and ham and add parmesan curls on top.
