Ingredients
- 1 Geur 1 kg (2 sakkies) ontvriesde, basiese maalvleismengsel met sout en peper en gooi ’n groot hand vol gekapte pietersielie en 125 ml gerasperde cheddar by.
- 2 Vorm 4 vleiskoekies.
- 3 Braai in 30 ml (2 e) olyfolie in ’n middelslagpan oor matige hitte en stapel op 4 rolletjies met slaaiblare, dik gesnyde tamatie- en rooi-ui-skywe, agurkies en lepels vol geblikte, Mexikaans gegeurde tamatie.
- 4 Sit voor met krakerige uieringe.

- Serves 4
- 1 Season 1 kg (2 bags) defrosted, basic mince mixture with salt and pepper. Mix with a big handful of chopped parsley and 125 ml grated cheddar.
- 2 Form 4 patties.
- 3 Fry it in 30 ml (2 tbsp) olive oil in a medium pan over medium heat. Layer four rolls with patties, lettuce, thick sliced tomato, red onion disks, gherkins and spoons full of canned, Mexican flavored tomatoes.
- 4 Serve with crispy onion rings.

5 Meng 150 ml meel, 15 ml (1 e) mielieblom (Maizena), sout en 180 ml (. k) sodawater.
6 Doop dik skywe ui in die beslag.
7 Braai in warm olie tot goudbruin.
8 Dreineer op kombuispapier.

Onion Rings
5 Mix 150 ml flour, 15 ml (1 tablespoon) cornflour (maizena), salt and 180 ml of soda.
6 Dip thick slices onion in the batter.
7 Fry in hot oil until golden brown.
8 Drain on paper towels.
